Supporting Our Community Through Charity
Last weekend the Charity Steward of Amersham Lodge, Bro. Robert Piggott, visited the Chiltern Child Contact Centre to present a donation of colouring books, together with a four-month supply of biscuits and squash.
These donations will help create a welcoming, friendly, and supportive environment for the children and families who rely on the centre’s invaluable services. While simple in nature, these contributions can make a meaningful difference to those spending time at the centre.
The visit is another example of the Lodge’s ongoing commitment to supporting local charities and community organisations. Acts of kindness such as these reflect the core values of Freemasonry; compassion, charity, and service, and demonstrate the positive impact that can be achieved when Brethren work together for the benefit of others.
